EDI

EDI is the exchange of financial and commercial documents between computer systems in the form of electronic messages. These documents include, among others, shipping notices, invoices, credit notes, order confirmations, and many others.

EDI - Electronic Data Interchange

EDI, or Electronic Data Interchange, is often also referred to as communication between businesses, where the foundation of this communication is the aforementioned documents.

EDI is also referred to as a standard electronic format (replacing the paper format). EDI helps save time and reduce costs associated with manual data processing.
